You will obey these guidelines as follows:
Absolutely NO plagiarism.
a. As a creative writing board, plagiarism is the biggest concern. DO NOT, under any circumstances, situations, etc. plagiarize any works or materials that your fellow members have posted. They are trusting you with their efforts.
b. If you are caught plagiarizing someone else's material, you will be instantly banned from The Dusty Notebook. As a community, this action WILL NOT be tolerated.
No "flaming" others..
a. Flaming is "an insulting fight over the internet between two or more parties."
b. Flaming is unacceptable, unneeded and uncalled for. Please refrain.
c. We are a community that shares ideas and thrives on feedback, NOT harsh bashing. Remember to keep in mind what Thumper said, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
Spamming.
a. To spam is to obnoxiously post irrelevant things multiple times, posting the same thing over and over, and bumping old, no longer useful topics.
b. Remember to make sure what you're about to post hasn't already been posted yet before you submit something.
c. Utilize your "edit" button. It is there for a reason.
Credits.
a. Make sure you credit the rightful author of what you share if said item does not belong to you. You'd want others to do the same for you! Just post a link, or the author's name.
Please contact an Administrator if you have any questions or concerns about the rules. This is a community for sharing and we intend to keep it safe.
Note: Rules may be changed and new rules may be added at any time.
